Story

Pan Entertainment is an independent production house based in Athens, Greece, committed to bold cinema and underrepresented perspectives for more than two decades.

Its films have premiered at the world's leading festivals and earned critical acclaim. Among others, Syllas Tzoumerkas’s Homeland was selected for Critics’ Week at Venice IFF and Filippos Tsitos's Plato’s Academy won multiple awards at Locarno IFF and was shortlisted for the European Parliament's LUX Prize. Pan’s upcoming slate includes Wild West, a twelve-part documentary series by Alexis Kardaras, and Lilacs from the Dead Land, a feature film by Konstantinos Doxiadis.

Building on this foundation in live-action cinema, Pan Entertainment has expanded into animation. Its first animated feature, The Gleaner, was directed by Panagiotis Rappas, who is also behind The Snowman and the Girl, now in development. A third project, The Year of Aquarius, marks the debut of emerging filmmaker Vassilis Magouliotis.

Across live action and animation, Pan Entertainment continues to develop stories and bring distinctive voices to audiences around the world.
