Meta-Island

The objective of the investment plan is to create a Virtual Reality environment that will transport the visitor to a Digital Twin of the Greek island of Santorini.

Through a combination of 3D views, the visitor will be able to explore the island’s landmarks and learn about its history and the daily life of its residents. At the same time, tourism facilities and local shops will be presented in an innovative way, while a zoom-in feature will allow users to participate in activities, guided tours, or experiences in general.

This project is carried out within the framework of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan Greece 2.0, funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU.
