Funding for the development of “The Snowman and the Girl” has been approved

We are very pleased to announce the funding for the development of the film The Snowman and the Girl by Hellenic Film and Audiovisual Center S.A. - Creative Greece.

The Snowman and the Girl is a beloved fairy tale by Eugene Trivizas with timeless appeal, celebrating the power of friendship through an imaginative adventure. First written forty years ago, it has since become a modern classic.

Eugene Trivizas stands among the most acclaimed contemporary authors of children’s literature. His prolific body of work has been translated into dozens of languages and embraced by readers across the globe, selling millions of copies.

The screen adaptation of the fairy tale is helmed by Panagiotis Rappas, an experienced director and screenwriter with a long-standing collaboration with Trivizas. Their creative alignment forms a strong foundation for the cinematic interpretation of the tale.
